The following Web sites provide information, resources, and links of current interest to Covenant patrons. Each month Covenant Library staff will select a topic of current interest and create a list of links. The lists will be archived for future access.

CLS Resources

  • The CDC's Web/satellite broadcasts on Bioterrorism are available on videocassette at all Covenant Libraries:

    1. Anthrax : What Every Clinician Should Know. Part I and Part II.
      Features clinical guidelines and procedures for the early recognition, diagnosis, treatment, and reporting of anthrax exposure; provides an overview of clinical, laboratory and public health preparedness for potential incidence.

    2. CDC Responds : Bioterrorism and the Infection Control Community Presents an update on infection control recommendations to address threats or actual events related to bioterrorism.

    3. CDC Responds : Clinical Diagnosis and Management of Anthrax-lessons learned.
      Presents an update on infection control recommendations to address threats or actual events related to bioterrorism.

    4. Smallpox: What Every Clinician Should Know.
      Scheduled for
      Live Broadcast: Thurs., Dec. 13, 2001 12:00-2:00pm ET
      Rebroadcast: Mon., Dec. 17, 2001 5:00-7:00 pm ET will also be taped and available at all libraries.
      A panel of experts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will present information on virology, epidemiology, clinical features and diagnosis of smallpox, and the characteristics and use of smallpox vaccine.
